One thing about science is that many atimes experiments/ hypotheses are proven through assumption. If something isn’t quite right, he will try again and again, on assumption that if he tries again, he’ll get closer and closer (if not at) to the right one. If Thomas Edison didn’t assume to a certain extent, we’ll probably still be living in darkness, cold and barren.
